Below, I've posted 3 photos to pick from for my "commercial" headshot, aka, smiley faces. Then in a few days, I will show you 3 different photos to pick from for my "legit" headshot, aka, serious face. The first photo is the one I've been using, followed by two others. A good headshot is one that actually looks like me in real life, on one of my good days of course, and is not just a pretty pic! Also, ideally, it should capture the essence of the real me...is that too heavy?? And, hey, if you think you know what the essence of the real me is, please do fill me in...figuring this out seems to be the journey I'm on right now so I could use any tips!
As I've said, I know I need new headshots as I don't believe any of these truly do the job, but for now one of these will have to do.
So, what do you think? Which of my "smiley" pics below, do you think works best?

I fully agree, Fra: the last pic is the best. The first one is cute but it is not you...I don't recognize your expressions really.... In the "stripes 2" I do recognize the light in your eyes :)

Fra - I love picture #3, it's so natural and I love how your smiling in it. I mean the first two are great as well but #3 does it for me!!! Cheers I hope that helps
I'm going to go against the grain and vote for Stripes 1. I think it's fun and a little off kilter- like you. The others are really nice photos, but this one just has that extra bit of spice and originality that I think shows off your personality a bit more. My two cents... keep the change.

where's the mittens head shots, I really liked those ones. You've changed a bit in your face from these, and not in a bad way at all. i like Stripes2 -is the most like you but perhaps new headshots for the fabulously new focused Franca would be good ??

I like the last one. It is the most natural - like you are just chilling. Plus with the beige background you look a bit more tanned like in real life lol I can't wait to see the serious ones...I didn't know you could make a serious face? lol

I like these. I just took some new ones and didnt like them because I didnt feel like it looked like me. These look like you are comfortable and it shows your features great!
